After installation of a software package the floppy randomly accesses.

ISSUE: After installation, the scanning software randomly scans or seeks the floppy drive.

SOLUTION: Use the following procedure to edit to the registry:

1. From the Windows desktop click Start, then Run.
2. In the Open box type REGEDIT, then select OK.
3. In the Registry Editor select [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE], Software, Microsoft (R), Windows, CurrentVersion, Policies, and Explorer.
4. Select "NoDriveTypeAutoRun".

NOTE: If "NoDrive TypeAutoRun" does not appear here, select [HKEY_CURRENT_USER], Software, Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion, Policies, Explorer, and then select "NoDriveTypeAutoRun".
