SWISH-E <http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/SWISH-E/> runs on Unix and Windows systems. Only the source code is available from the Berkeley Digital Library site. I have provided a few binaries for you to use. These binaries are straight compiles of the source at UC Berkeley. These SWISH-E packages are provided with no warranty under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

SWISH-E 1.3.1 supports both File System and HTTP with a simple command line flag, instead recompiling like older versions. HTTP support requires a properly working PERL 5 installation on the system and the HTML Treebuilder modules.

Experimental Builds

Binary Executable with Source Code

These experimental builds of SWISH-E 1.3.2 were built with MinGW32 (Minimalist GNU Win32). MinGW32 is a set of free, native 32-bit compiler utilities for Windows using the GNU C Compiler. (Read: Does not use a Unix/Posix emulator like CygWin32.) The binaries may or may not work. The porting of the source is still in beta. If you want a reliable build, use Microsoft Visual C++ 5 or 6.
