"Consistency is the key to usable interaction design," says Jakob Nielsen. You need to keep the look of your pages consistent. Do not place a different color scheme or layout on each page. It does not present a very solid foundation. It gives the appearance of non-reliable information. Appearance is everything when presenting information; whether that information is fun, serious, or just plain babble.
Remember my color survey? I noticed something. It looks like Huntington Bank has two web designers. I think that one is a professional, and, the other is Jim from Taxi. Excellent site, but, there are two different looks. Most pages are nicely designed. You think that the site is great then you click a link that takes you into the most unorganized mess of text you could imagine. Please don't do this.
